Now...

I'm currently Editor-in-Chief of The New York Times Style Magazine MENA.

My debut novel, What Will People Think?, will came out in May2025 and is the biggest book deal to come out of the MENA region for a contemporary female author!

Breadwinner is my second novel and will come out August 2027 in NYC.

Before...

I was the main contributor for The International New York Times on business, education and culture for 6 years.

I then worked with Google as editor-in-chief of Think with Google MENA for 6 years. I then served as Managing Editor at Protocol Labs, an American tech venture capital firm focused on the next iteration of the internet.

B.S. in finance at the University of California, Berkeley, graduating with honors in just three years.

M.S. Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism, again with honors.

I'm an Arab-American who grew up in Greece and now lives in Dubai. I speak some Arabic, Italian, Greek, but my husband is the talented one when it comes to impressions.
